Day 6 Already!

I can't believe I'm on day 6 already, only one more day to go until W day! Hooray!

I really hope that the scales shift in the right direction this week. I've stuck within what I am allowed and have exercised like a freak so there should be no reason why they shouldn't show something encouraging tomorrow night.

I'm still trying to get my head around the fact that the stuff I'm eating is not what I'd normally eat at all. I also have a big confession to make, which involves ready meals. This week I've eaten 7 of the buggers already which is not like me at all. I never buy or eat convenience food and am usually totally against the concept of microwave dinners. I really don't see the point in them when you can cook something much more appetising and appealing from real ingredients. Ready meals are the work of the devil.

On my quest to find low point lunch time meals I read somewhere that you could buy Weight Watchers ready meals for £1 each at Iceland. Now Iceland is a place I'd never normally set foot in as all that junk food/convenience meals makes me shiver (and gag) but last Sunday I drove to our local village and stocked up on a pile of frozen ready meals intending them to be for emergency use only. I was so shocked at my purchase that I had to photograph my bad booty and send it to my friend (who was probably totally disgusted with me too!)

Bad Booty

So, I've now eaten 7 of my emergency frozen meals in one week and need to start cooking again for my own sanity!

Whilst on my frozen food convenience roll this week I also purchased a 2 pack of frozen baked potatoes from Tesco. Am I going totally mad? I think so. I can't believe I've bought something that takes 5 minutes in the microwave to cook from frozen, when I can just get myself a lovely fresh potato from the sack, prod it with a fork and stick it in the microwave myself for 5 minutes! Who is mad enough to buy this stuff? .....Me probably!

So, no more Mrs Lazy Arse, I need to cook REAL food next week!
