Curry and Booze

My weekend wasn't too bad this week, but as always Mondays come around far too quickly! They should make 3 day weekends compulsory. If I was prime minister that would be my first task.

Saturday morning was boot camp, then it was off to one of my best friends houses for a typical Saturday night take away curry with the husbands.  Luckily my friend is on weight watchers too, so we worked out what we could eat and drink for maximum enjoyment using as few points as possible without being totally boring.

I ditched the usual creamy korma sauce, rice and naan bread and opted to share a chicken shaslick with salad and saag aloo then mopped it up with a weight watchers pitta bread. To be honest, it was absolutely gorgeous and completely guilt free which meant we could save all our points for booze!

Normally, we'd both be on the wine, but wine is 4 points for a small glass (and who pours small glasses these days?) Spirits are only 2 per shot and diet drinks are free, so I stuck to the Bacardi for a change. I had 5 Bacardi's so all in all I had a jolly good drink and scran without going overboard on the allowance. However, when we got home at 2am I ended up raiding the cupboards for something to eat and made myself a couple of crumpets, I counted them in though!

So, this weekend I've used a fair few of my weekly points allowance so will have to be quite strict with myself for the rest of the week. It is do-able though!
